eCommerce is basically an online platform that allows you to buy and sell goods and services. I'm sure most of you are familiar with this if you have ever made purchases on Amazon, Target, or Walmart. If you have ever made any purchases online, that is ecommerce.
One of the most asked questions from individuals looking to start their own online store is what platform should they use.
What Store Platform to Use?
Choosing an online platform is one of the most important decisions to make when starting your store. I'm going to save you a ton of heachache by just directly recommending Shopify.
There are many platforms that you can choose from, and I encourage you to do more research, however majority of you will always come back to Shopify. It is simply the best option for people new to E-Commerce

Once you have figured out what store platform you will use, now it's time to find products to sell.
Where to Find Products to Sell?
A common mistake is thinking that you have to invent or manufacture your own products. This is completely FALSE and you should remove that idea from your mindset. Majority of the products you find from online stores are just rebranded or Private Labeled items
Most sellers takes advantage of this process by finding products on a site called Alibaba.
Alibaba is an online website that has a directory of oversea manufacturers and the products they make. You can utilize this resource by bulking purchasing their products with your brand and logo on the packaging, then reselling those items on your very own store.
You can easily see examples of Private Labeling by searching for products on Amazon. Most of the products found on Amazon are from sellers who have rebranded products from Alibaba.
How to Market your Business?
As mentioned in the video, marketing is one of the most important steps in creating a successful business. You can have the best website and the best products, but no one will make purchases if they do not know about your store
There are two primary strategies to market your business. First is organic marketing and the second is paid marketing. In the video, I take you through the process of how to tackle both strategies.
